Our Neighborhood

At Friendship we love our neighbors. One way we do that is by partnering with local ministries and organizations in the Southern Maryland area to serve our local communities. Ultimately, our goal in our partnerships is to embody Christ’s image and bring people to Jesus and develop them into fully mature, reproducing followers of Christ in Southern Anne Arundel and Northern Calvert counties.

Project ECHO, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission to provide hope for the homeless. They have emergency shelter and supportive housing for individuals and families experiencing homelessness.

LifeWorks of Southern Maryland provides transitional housing for men who are trying to get back on their feet. They provide spiritual, emotional, and tangible assistance so they can go back into the community.

Each month we hold blood drives in our sanctuary that provides much needed life-saving blood for people in need at hospitals such as Walter Reed, Calvert Memorial, Anne Arundel Medical and others.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools serves children throughout the area. We partner with Tracey’s Elementary to provide food for children who are food insecure on the weekends.

Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of people who come together to solve their drinking problem. They meet every weekday, Monday through Friday from 7-8 AM at Friendship. If you are looking for help, this is a great place to start.
