Building Expansion
Over the past several years, our elders have been prayerfully exploring a proposed building addition designed to better serve the current and future ministry needs of our church. The additional ministry space will help us better support our growing ministries, create needed space for current programs, and position our church to serve families and our community more effectively for years to come. The building expansion was approved by the congregation in August of 2026 and we’ve moving forward with construction.

How You Can Help
The current funding plan includes:
A matching $500,000 one-time gift
$500,000 additional offerings from the Friendship family over the next three years
A loan of approximately $700,000 to cover the remaining project costs, including any temporary cash-flow needs as pledged offerings are received over time
Why are we considering a building project now?
We believe this is the right time to expand our facilities to better support our current ministries and create space for future growth.
Is this giving in addition to my regular offering?
Yes, building campaign gifts are intended to be above and beyond regular giving that supports the church's ongoing ministries and operations.
Can I give a one-time gift instead of giving over three years?
Absolutely, one-time gifts are welcome and are just as valuable as gifts given over time.
Can I change my giving estimate later?
Yes, your giving estimate is not a binding commitment and may be adjusted if your circumstances change.
Can I give stock or securities?
Yes, the church can accept gifts of stock and certain other securities; please contact the church office for details
What if my financial situation changes?
We understand that circumstances can change over two years. Your giving estimate is intended to help the church plan and is not a legal or moral obligation. If your circumstances change, you are free to adjust your giving as needed.
We are asking each household to prayerfully consider what they are able and willing to give toward the building project over the next two years. This giving is separate from your regular offering. Your response is not a binding commitment but an estimate of your intended giving. It will help church leadership plan wisely for the project and determine the next steps.
