Robert Kendall

Robert came to Friendship in 2008 and has served as Lead Pastor since 2010. He did his undergraduate work at Bryan College, received his Master of Divinity from degree from Capital Bible Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Robert is the son of a pastor and started in ministry in an English-speaking Korean church in the DC suburbs before coming to Friendship. He and his wife Paula have 8 children and love their Saturday morning coffee dates together.

SENIOR PASTOR

Steve Barrick

Steve came to Friendship in 2020 after serving for over 20 years at Riverdale Baptist Church where he was an Associate Pastor and worship leader. He graduated from Pensacola Christian College and received his Master of Religion in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty Theological Seminary.

Steve and his wife Jody have 3 adult daughters who serve at Friendship and love to cheer on their beloved Philadelphia sports teams.

WORSHIP PASTOR

Steve joined the Friendship team as our Executive Pastor in 2025. He earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Augusta State University and his Master of Divinity in biblical languages from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He also has over 10 years experience working in Christian-owned energy consultant business.

Steve, his wife Cassidy, and their 3 sons enjoy building meaningful relationships with friends and neighbors and serving at church and in the community.
